Our driving force at the farm is based on a natural cycle –that begins with healthy soil, leading to healthy plants, healthy animals, and ultimately healthy people.

This goes along with that simple saying, “you are what you eat.”

Many people think of soil as just dirt, but it’s truly a living organism. We are caretakers of the land, with a goal to leave the soil in a more fertile condition than when we received it. One method we use to keep our soil healthy is planting cover crops.  Cover crops promote overall soil health by adding organic matter and helping to release nutrients that are already in the soil.

NON-GMO FED    ∙    FREE OF ADDED HORMONES    ∙    ANTIBIOTIC FREE

We’ve also made the transition to growing 100% non-GMO crops. This means all of our cattle are non-GMO fed.  Through sampling our feed, we’ve seen higher nutrient values, and our animals are healthier.  Having healthy cattle means we’ve eliminated the need to use antibiotics or hormones.  Our cattle thrive naturally, and we have the peace of mind in knowing that we didn’t add something artificial to their system unnecessarily.

It always comes back to soil health – the root of our farming practices.  These practices support our main objective –

to provide a heritage and legacy of stewardship and wellness.
